Once upon a time, a smartphone with 4000mAh battery was the gold standard for long battery life, but things have changed and as smartphones have gotten more capable, battery size had to increase to keep the lights on for longer.

TECNO Pouvoir 3 Plus
Released in August 2019, TECNO Pouvoir 3 Plus is a TECNO phone with 6000mAh battery. If there was any other TECNO phone with 6000mAh battery before it, I am not aware. The Pouvoir 3 Plus gives you a 6.35-inch AMOLED display, Helio P22 chipset, 13 MP selfie camera, 32 MP rear triple camera. There are two variants – one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, and the other with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage memory. The 3GB/32GB variant of the Pouvoir 3 Plus had a recommended retail price of about $130 (₦ 46,000) at launch and seems to be a little scarce now, while the 4GB/64GB variantsells for about $150 (₦ 60,000 at this time).
TECNO Spark Power
TECNO Spark Power is another TECNO phones with 6000mAh battery that was released in 2019 (December) and is almost a replica of the Pouvoir 3 Plus. It runs Android 9 Pie operating system and has a 6.35-inch waterdrop notch display, a Mediatek Helio P22 chipset, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage – all similar specs to the Pouvoir 3 Plus. There are some differences though. The selfie camera on this model is a13 MP lens, while the rear triple camera has a 13 MP main sensor, 8 MP secondary sensor, and another 2 MP lens to go with it. Released with a price tag of $119, this TECNO phone with 6000mAh battery is available for purchase on Flipkart.
TECNO Pouvoir 4
The Pouvoir 4 is another TECNO phone with 6000mAh battery. It has a 7-inch display, a quad-core Helio A22 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB storage. The Pouvoir 4 was relased with a US $165 price tag.
TECNO Pouvoir 4 Pro
TECNO Pouvoir 4 Pro is the more powerful twin of the Pouvoir 4. It has a different processor and chipset, larger storage and RAM, and higher specified cameras. Like the non-Pro version, it has a 7-inch display and a 6000mAh battery, but that is where the similarities end mostly. This model has an Octa-core Mediatek Helio P22 chipset, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, a 16 MP quad rear camera, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB storage. Both the Pouvoir 4 and 4 Pro run Android 10 operating system. They are the most up-todate TECNO phones with 6000mAh battery. The Pouvoir 4 sells for ₦55, 000, while the Pro version costs ₦65,000.
TECNO Spark Power 2
Joining the ranks of TECNO smartphones with 6000mAh battery is the Spark Power 2, announced in June 2020. It has a 7-inch display, Helio P22 chipset, 4Gb RAM, and 64GB internal storage. Accompanying the 6000mAh battery is18W fast charging. TECNO Spark Power 2 runs ANdroid 10 OS and has a recommended retail price tag of $130 (INR10,000) and is available exclusively on Flipkart.. These are the available TECNO phones with 6000mAh battery in the market in 2020. Note that none of the Pouvoir 3 Plus, Pouvoir 4, and the Pouvoir 4 Pro have any form of fast charging, so expect those batteries to take hours to fill up. The best recommendation is that if you opt for one of them, you should plug it in when going to bed, so you (hopefully) have a full battery when you get up in the morning. The Spark Power 2, however, comes with 18W fast charging, which sets it in a class by itself among TECNO phones with 6000mAh battery. Unfortunatrely, availability is limited, but if you want it badly enough, you can always order and have it shipped to you.
TECNO Phones With 6000mAh Battery: The Alternatives
If you are not a fan of TECNO’s HiOS and would rather give something else a try within the same price range, you should have a look at the Infinix Hot 9 Play. It has a slightly smaller 6.82-inch waterdrop, IPS TFT display, a less powerful 1.8 Ghz Octa-core processor, and a mere 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage memory. Alternatives from Samsung cost as much as twice the prices of the TECNO phones listed on this page, so they are not quite competitors.
