It uses the same A13 Bionic chipset and Apple GPU. Combined with the smaller display and less pixels to push, what you have is performance that is far above that of any of the iPhone 11 smartphones.
Apple iPhone SE 2020 even one-ups the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max with a feature that all of them do not have: a fingerprint scanner. Coming after months of speculation, the iPhone SE (2020) has finally launched on Wednesday. This smartphone is a successor to the original iPhone SE which was released in 2016. The smartphone was launched at an online event and is seen as the most affordable iPhone in Apple’s current set of devices. The iPhone SE (2020) which was initially rumoured to launch as the iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 comes with a 4.7-inch screen which is seen with the iPhone 8 and a number of earlier iPhone models. The iPhone SE (2020) is powered by the Apple A13 Bionic SoC which also features in the iPhone 11 series.
This 2nd generation iPhone SE comes with the iOS 13 out-of-the-box and also features Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Another interesting thing to note is the return of the home button which was missing in the 2019 Apple devices. The iPhone SE (2020) measures 138.4×67.3×7.3mm, weighing 148 grams. It also offers IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, letting it survive in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes. Are there any features you might miss on the iPhone SE 2020? Definitely. You will miss the big screen of its most recently released siblings. Apple could have trimmed those large top and bottom bezels to increase the screen size to between 5 and 5.2 inches. That would also have given the SE 2020 a more modern look. You will miss the 3.5mm audo port, so you can’t use a wired audio headset or earpiece with this phone. And lastly, there is the small-ish battery capacity (said to be 1,821mAh). And if you are a lover of the best smartphone cameras, you won’t find iPhone 11-level cameras on the iPhone SE 2020. What you get is a single 12-megapixel rear camera and a single 7-megapixel selfie camera. They are good, but they are not flagship-level good. The iPhone SE 2020 will be ready for pre-orders on Friday, with the device coming in different storage variants. The iPhone SE goes for $399 for the 64GB model, $449 for the 128GB model and $549 for the 256GB model in the US, with UK prices slightly higher at £419 for the 64GB model, £469 for the 128GB variant and £569 for the 256GB variant.

If you can stand the dated look with huge bezels at the top and bottom, the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headsets, as well as live with the small-ish battery, the iPhone SE 2020 easily climbs high on our list of the best new iPhone to buy in 2020.
